Skills and the awards
Skills has been a proud partner of IPANZ for many years.
As an industry training organisation we are committed to improving workplace development for the trades, youth, and commercial sectors. Skills also provides support and develops training solutions for public sector staff. This includes working with government agencies on improving regulatory practice standards, and working with ministries on business qualifications programmes. Skills is proud to support the IPANZ Public Sector Excellence Awards as they highlight the great work being done by individuals and organisations in the sector.
Skills is also the sponsor for the Young Professional of the Year Award, which recognises a young person who has made an outstanding contribution while in their public sector role. The winner of the award will receive a one week leadership course run by the prestigious Mt Eliza Business School in Melbourne.
The category is open to individuals aged 30 or under, and the applicants were judged earlier in the year. The award was created to recognise excellence in the public sector stars of tomorrow, and give them a boost to continue their great work.
The Skills team are looking forward to the big night on the 25th July, celebrating excellence in the sector, and presenting the Young Professional of the Year Award to the winner.
