Level 6 case management unit standards available for feedback

NZQA has informed Skills that the Level 6 Case Management unit standards have been accepted.

It is expected to be published on NZQA for public access during or shortly after March 2018.

The new Level 6 unit standard (short titles) are: 

These seven unit standards have been developed to support the Graduate Profile Outcomes of the New Zealand Certificate in Case Management (Practice Leadership) (Level 6) [3631]. This Certificate was developed for those who lead and champion improvements in client-centred case management, and who manage complex and specialist cases. Learners may be in any context, in private or public sector settings.

These standards have been developed over a nine month period by a working group consisting of wide representation from both the public sector and relevant private sector organisations and from assessment consultants. If you have any questions please email Sally Evers

Level 4 and 5 Case Management unit standards listed on NZQA

These unit standards were listed on NZQA in December 2017 to support the New Zealand Certificate in Case Management (Level 5) [3630]. This Certificate is for learners in any roles aimed at helping to support people through cases in any context, in private or public sector settings.

The Skills Organisation is working with public and private sector organisations on programme development, and will create assessment resources to support the programme delivery.
