Express your interest to participate in the Intelligence Qualification Review

Skills is calling for expressions of interest to participate in reviewing the:

  • New Zealand Certificate in Intelligence (Introduction) (Level 3) [Ref:2392]
  • New Zealand Certificate in Intelligence (Level 5) with strands in Collection, and Collation [Ref:2394]
  • New Zealand Certificate in Intelligence Analysis (Level 6) [Ref:2396]

Selected members will form a Consultation Group who will:

  • provide leadership direction and purpose, high level support to inform and support the review of the qualification, ensuring the structure and prescription align with the intended outcomes
  • ensure ongoing commitment of time and resource from sector organisations for the project – that there is enough subject matter expertise available to produce fit for purpose qualifications and unit standards
  • provide critique during the review of the qualifications
  • communicate progress to their networks and obtain feedback and communicate this to The Skills Organisation
  • provide final endorsement of the qualification prior to submission to NZQA

 

Interested persons should consider the following:

  • this is review is voluntary and non-funded by The Skills Organisation
  • Travel and day costs will be met by each individual
  • members will be chosen based on their expertise and suitability
  • meetings are held once a month, communication via email and/or phone will be circulated throughout each month as needed
  • the duration of this review will be between August – November 2019
