At Skills, we are closely monitoring the coronavirus situation and its impact on all our Skills family – our trainees, our tutors and our staff.

We also understand that right now you will have lots of questions about your training or block course programmes.

Firstly, we want you to be reassured that our key priority is to keep everyone safe – particularly as the spread of the virus and its effect is constantly evolving – and also let you know that we will be regularly keeping in touch to let you know exactly what is happening and any changes or cancellations that need to be made.

So, here’s what we know so far:

Are block courses still running?

Yes. We are working closely with Providers to monitor any changes to block courses as they arise and will let you know as soon as they do.

We are following all Government and Ministry of Health guidelines around best practice at this time.

Should you attend block courses?

  • If you are feeling unwell, or showing potential symptoms of coronavirus such as coughing, having a temperature or shortness of breath, please discuss this with your employer and do not come into class.
  • If you have been in contact with someone who has been diagnosed with COVID-19, please do not come into class.

Please notify your employer and get in touch with your Account Manager to let us know your situation. Take the time to focus on yourself and get better.

We will keep you updated

Please be assured that we will keep you constantly updated. Again, this is an evolving situation and it is important to us that you know what is happening and are immediately contacted with any changes that may affect you.
If we have any further updates in the coming weeks and months, your Account Manager will be in touch to let you know.
