What you need to know
from November 2021

As New Zealand makes its way through the rapidly-changing COVID-19 alert levels, Skills is keeping an eye out for our trainees, employers, assessors and staff.

At Level Two
For those regions in Alert Level 2, Skills offers in-person block courses. It’s business as usual with some measures in place as per the Ministry of Education’s guidelines.
At Level Three
If your area is in Alert Level Three, all face-to-face training is suspended.
We’ll notify you directly if the situation changes.
We will keep you updated as much as we can. Please contact your Skills account manager if you have any questions or need more information.
Looking after yourself
COVID-19 is challenging many of us right now.
Skills has partnered with Instep – a leading provider for mental health support in the workplace. They’ve created some great resources to help you find your way through.
You’ll find trades-specific mental health resources in the Construction Health & Safety New Zealand Trust’s Mental Health Toolkit.
