With the announcement from the Government of the move to Alert Level 3, we wanted to make sure you are updated on what this means for you.
So, please have a read of the bulletin from the Ministry of Education which outlines details of what moving from Level 4 to Level 3 will look like, as well as links to extra information that may be relevant for apprentices.
As we move to Level 3, at Skills we are in the final stages of confirming our plans to continue delivery of apprenticeship training, and what needs to be put in place to ensure we meet all health and safety requirements along the way. We will share this detail with you soon.
We also hope that the additional support Skills provided through the four-week fee suspension has been helpful in easing any financial pressure.
Please note that as we come out of lockdown Level 4 and begin the process of returning to work and training, fees will also go back to normal – from Monday 27 April for most apprentices, or 4 May for ETCO and Open Polytech trainees.
Once again, we are all in this together, so please let your account manager know if we can help in any way to get you back on your feet again.
As always, keep you and your loved ones safe and well.
The Skills Team
