You’re invited to provide feedback on the reviewed New Zealand Electrical Qualifications
The Skills Electrical Consultation Group has completed the review of the remaining qualifications:
- New Zealand Certificate in Electrical Engineering (Level 3) [Ref: 2387]
- New Zealand Certificate in Electrical Engineering (Level 5) [Ref: 2384]
The review was done to ensure the qualifications remain relevant and fit for purpose for the industry.
The outcome for Level 3
The Skills Electrical Consultation Group has developed a draft Level 3 qualification. Please see the document here.
The outcome for Level 5
Due to non-usage of this qualification, the Skills Electrical Group confirmed to expire the qualification and seek information to inform future development of smaller, specialised, or targeted learning that can be more suited to the electrical industry and electricians wanting to up skill.
What we need from you by 22 July 2020:
- Review the attached draft Level 3 qualification.
- Recommend topics for the future development of specialised learning at Level 5.
