For Skills, like many other businesses, the COVID 19 situation has reinforced that people and doing what is right needs to come first.
So, we’re extending the fee suspension for our apprentices from two to four weeks. This will give our providers time to focus on getting online learning underway so we can minimise any disruption to our apprentice training programme. Plus, we also believe what would be helpful right now is a four-week financial breather.
For ETCO or Open Polytechnic apprentices, the four-week fee suspension will apply to you too – plus, the other good news is that you already have online learning up and running.
We do also understand there are other challenges many are facing right now. So, for apprentices experiencing financial difficulty, please do get in touch.
